Violet Grohl, daughter of rock musician Dave Grohl, appears to have deactivated her Instagram account after news broke that her father welcomed a fourth daughter outside of his marriage.
On Tuesday, Sept. 10, Dave Grohl took to Instagram to announce that he recently became the father of a child with a woman outside of his marriage to longtime wife, Jordyn Blum. As of Tuesday afternoon, Violet’s Instagram account, which belongs to Grohl's 18-year-old daughter, remains deactivated, though it's unclear when exactly the account was taken down.
Grohl, who has been married to Blum for 23 years, shares Violet, along with two other daughters, Ophelia, 10, and Harper, 15.

"I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage," Grohl revealed in his Sept. 10 statement. "I intend to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We appreciate your respect for all the children involved as we move forward together."
In June 2023, Grohl brought Violet on stage at the Glastonbury Festival, where he introduced her as "my favorite singer in the world" before performing a song from his band’s latest album, *But Here We Are.* "This is a song I wrote for my mother, Violet’s grandmother. This is ‘Show Me How,’" Grohl shared with the audience.

Earlier in 2023, Grohl attended the Grammy Awards with Blum and their three daughters, smiling as they walked the red carpet together. The family showcased their distinct styles, with Grohl in his signature black-rimmed glasses, Blum in a black sequined dress, Violet in a blazer dress and knee-high boots, Harper in a vintage-inspired floral dress, and Ophelia in a flowing ombré dress paired with a gold purse.
