Singer Shifty Shellshock of the band Crazy Town has died at the age of 49, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. 

Shifty Shellshock, whose real name was Seth Binzer, passed away on Monday at a residence in Los Angeles County, as confirmed by the coroner’s online records. The cause of death has not been disclosed. Shellshock had publicly shared his struggles with addiction in the past.

Crazy Town gained fame with their hit song “Butterfly,” which topped the charts in 2000.
